Infinity Zone is a Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion from the Sword & Shield era. Released in Japan in 2020 with the set code S3, the expansion places Eternatus prominently at the center of the collection. The set combines Pokémon from the Galar region with familiar Pokémon from previous generations and includes Pokémon V, Pokémon VMAX and Trainer cards from the early period of the Sword & Shield series.
The Infinity Zone card list features Pokémon such as Eternatus V, Eternatus VMAX, Crobat V, Scizor V, Scizor VMAX, Salamence V and Salamence VMAX. Eternatus is one of the defining Pokémon of the expansion, with its powerful VMAX form representing the enormous Eternamax transformation. These cards appear alongside regular Pokémon and Evolution lines covering a variety of different types and generations.
Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX form an important part of Infinity Zone. The expansion includes several Evolution combinations where a Pokémon V can develop into its corresponding VMAX form, providing both different artwork and gameplay characteristics. Crobat V is another recognizable card from the set, while Pokémon such as Scizor and Salamence contribute additional V and VMAX cards to the collection.
Collectors can find several rarity levels throughout the Japanese Infinity Zone card list. Alongside regular Pokémon, Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX, the expansion includes Super Rare, Hyper Rare and additional Secret Rare cards. Full Art Pokémon and Trainers, Rainbow-style cards and other higher-rarity versions extend the collection beyond the regular numbered portion of the set.
