Rebellion Crash is a Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion from the Sword & Shield era. Released in Japan in 2020 with the set code S2, the expansion continues the early Sword & Shield series with Pokémon from the Galar region alongside familiar Pokémon from previous generations. The set combines regular Pokémon with Pokémon V, Pokémon VMAX and Trainer cards, creating a varied collection from the beginning of the Japanese Sword & Shield era.
The Rebellion Crash card list features Pokémon such as Toxtricity V, Toxtricity VMAX, Dragapult V, Dragapult VMAX, Copperajah V and Copperajah VMAX. These Pokémon represent several of the recognizable species introduced in the Galar region and are accompanied by regular Pokémon and Evolution lines from different generations. Toxtricity and Dragapult are particularly prominent throughout the expansion.
Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX form an important part of Rebellion Crash. Several Pokémon appear first as Pokémon V before developing into their larger VMAX forms, representing the Dynamax and Gigantamax mechanics associated with the Sword & Shield era. These cards combine powerful gameplay characteristics with larger illustrations that distinguish them from regular Pokémon cards within the set.
Collectors can find several rarity levels throughout the Japanese Rebellion Crash card list. Alongside regular Pokémon, Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX, the expansion includes Super Rare, Hyper Rare and additional Secret Rare cards. Full Art Pokémon, Full Art Trainers and other higher-rarity versions extend the collection beyond the regular numbered cards and provide additional artwork to collect.
All Rebellion Crash cards on this collection page belong to the original Japanese S2 expansion and feature Japanese-language card text. As one of the earliest main expansions from the Sword & Shield era, Rebellion Crash represents the period when Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX were becoming established mechanics within the Japanese Pokémon TCG and Galar Pokémon were being introduced across the card game.
